The concept was that you played bingo interactively through your television and PC with a live programme scheduled late in the evenings and included special guest callers. The whole idea became very popular and thousands of keen bingo players played each evening. To play, all you needed to do was register and account on your PC, go to pick your cards and you were ready to take part in the largest live bingo game in the UK. Scattered amongst the bingo games were some very good bonus games which you participated in with your lucky number which would have been given to you when you received your cards. The prize money on these games were not as large as the online bingo games money, but it broke up the bingo games and was very entertaining.
The prize money for the bingo games was pretty good seeing as all the games were free to play. Most night, the prize for a full house was £1,000 but you had to be very lucky for any chance to win as there were so many players and games were being won in under 50 calls most of the time. There was a statistician who constantly gave updates on who and where in the UK was the closest to winning which made you realise most of the time, how far you had to go. Unfortunately, ITV decided to call time on Bingo Night Live but e live in hope that one day it may be resurrected to give diehard fans some more great late night entertainment.
