I have learnt a lot in my time as a bingo player and internet bingo fan and in all my days it is very rare that I have to say that itvbingo.itv.com am no more. I clicked onto the site and was very sad to see an announcement that stated that itv play services closed on 4th may 2009.

It is a sad day when you see that a site that was as good as this one had to close, it was one of the better run sites that was put online by the tv companies. It had all the glitz and glam that you would associate with one of the major run sites. When I first went onto this site some time ago I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of it and it had one of the best run chat rooms I have ever been in, it was just a joy to be in and I doubt if we will see the like of it again.
The ITV Bingo site had quite a few varied offers open to you when you joined you got a special sign up bonus and a very good deposit bonus scheme open to all the people who ventured onto the site. As with all the sites up and running now it did have a form of free bingo games which required a deposit but it gave you deposit bonuses. In these days of doom and gloom what we do not want is to see free bingo sites as good as this going down as we all still need to get our fix of bingo.
I had no idea that the site was going to close when I last went onto it as it was quite a buzzing site, so maybe in the days of recession and cutbacks this just might be what happened to a glorious site. Perhaps itv wanted to save cash and had to pull the plug due to economic circumstances. Sad to see things like this happening in the bingo world. R.I.P itvbingo.com.
